Our Warranty
Mill Creek Shutters stands behind the quality of our products and workmanship. Our shutters include warranty coverage for qualifying product and manufacturing issues, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in our written warranty.
Coverage may vary depending on the shutter material, the nature of the issue, the original installation, and the age of the product. Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, environmental damage, and work performed by others may not be covered.

Caring for Your Shutters
Regular Dusting
Use a soft microfiber cloth, feather duster, or vacuum with a soft brush attachment. Close the louvers and clean across the surface, then rotate the louvers and clean the opposite side.
Cleaning Painted Shutters
Use a soft damp cloth or a Magic Eraser to gently clean painted shutters. We do not recommend using cleaning solutions or spraying any products directly onto the shutters.
Cleaning Wood or Stained Shutters
Use a dry or very lightly dampened cloth. Avoid saturating the wood, allowing moisture to remain on the surface, or using household cleaners that may damage the finish.
Avoid Harsh Cleaners
Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, rough scrubbing pads, or excessive water. Do not spray cleaning products directly onto the shutters.
Opening and Closing Your Shutters
Tilt the louvers into the open position before opening the shutter panels. Avoid forcing panels or louvers that feel stuck or difficult to move.
When to Contact Us
Loose or damaged louvers, panels that don't close correctly, broken tilt rods, loose hinges, cracked frames, peeling finishes, or any issue that requires forcing the shutter to operate.
When in doubt, stop using the affected shutter and submit a service request. Photos can help our team identify the issue before scheduling service.
